Ultra Compact Light Weight Energy Efficient Geophysical Instrumentation

In a world of ever increasing awareness of global warming and the impact of the operators carbon footprint, GeoDuster Technologies embarked on the development of a fully integrated airborne system that would fuse a number of applications into one ultra-compact instrument and thus reduce energy consumption through the use of low power lightweight state of the art technologies.

The system includes Navigation, Data Acquisition and Real Time Dynamic Compensation functionality together with Synchronous/Asynchronous data capture into a Multi-File Structure using the most compact multi-threaded  x86 RTOS available in the market today.

The new fusion technology and the elimination of heavyweight 19” instrument racks from the aircraft together with self monitoring technology linked to error reporting and event recording eliminates the need for an operator. Weight reductions translate into fuel load reductions and directly reduce emissions. Smaller lighter platforms become a truly realistic alternative to the fuel hungry heavyweights currently deployed throughout the industry.
